Steampunk landscape

Rusty, hot, sunny, random, old. These words came to my head when i starter thinking about painting this rusty landscape. The aim was to focus on light and color. I wanted to create sunny, hot day atmosphere and dry, rusty hard surface which covers all whats on the ground. Sort of rusty desert so to speak. During process i was constantly checking my painting in Black&White gamma, also horizontal flip was used quite often. Composition wise it is pretty simple, but that was not the main purpose. I had a lot of fun adding these tiny details like glass windows and shiny pipes.

 Final painting.

Good morning citizens

I did this piece inspired by yesterdays walk in sunny Copenhagens downtown and getting up in observatory to see cityscape and rooftops.

Same scene, different light conditions.

These oval pictures are different from all other of mine. Not just because they are cropped as oval, joking :) Seriously, i tried to come up with a picture which has same scene, but different light and weather conditions. It's a really fun task by the way, try that! Just make sure at the beginning you have simple starting picture, don't  get yourself into something super detailed and difficult to change.

Graphite sunday. Sketching people.

Hi everyone. Again sunday, again I'm together with my tools. This time i tried to get most out of the sunny day. And sun means light and shadow my friends. Serious task to put all these golden moments on the paper. Anyway, here are the results:
